WHAT THEY MEANT

By 'partnered with artists', we mean we've run some focus groups and watched YouTube tutorials about creative workflows. 'Real problems' is our special corporate euphemism for 'things that marginally inconvenience graphic designers'. This is basically PowerPoint's crop tool wearing a very expensive AI costume and trying to look cool at the tech conference.

REALITY CHECK

Google has released another incremental image editing tool with some AI-assisted features. The core functionality appears similar to existing tools, with machine learning helping automate basic object manipulation and text placement. Actual workflow transformation remains to be demonstrated beyond marketing language.
